Your making, your privacy.
Website and launch waitlist notice · updated 24 October 2026.
Who looks after your details
KnittersWorld is responsible for the website waitlist and the details you share on it. For access, correction, withdrawal of consent or deletion, email [email protected].
What you choose to share
Email and permission for launch updates are required. First name, craft, experience, country and maker role are optional. Founding Maker applicants confirm they are 18 or older. With each signup we record your language, the time you gave consent and the consent version you agreed to, the page you joined from, the invitation code made for you, and the invitation code you arrived with, if any. We also note whether the anti-spam check was completed.
Why we keep it
To send launch invitations, understand early makers and consider Founding Maker applications. We do not sell this list or use it for unrelated marketing. No automated selection decisions are made.
Your photos stay here
Yarn photos are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. Your row, colours, invitation code and comfort settings stay in this browser. Clearing site data removes them.
Where your details live
The intended live site uses Cloudflare hosting, database storage and spam protection. Cloudflare may process technical information, including network addresses, across its global infrastructure. A specific storage region has not been committed.
Spam protection
We store short-lived, salted hashes of network addresses to limit requests, rather than raw addresses. The live site requires a Cloudflare Turnstile check. Waitlist exports require administrator authorisation and are recorded.
Your choice
Withdraw consent or request deletion by emailing [email protected]. We aim to handle requests within 7 days. Waitlist details will be deleted within 12 months after app launch, or earlier on request. There is no launch date yet.
Browser storage
Browser storage supports the features you choose. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts visits without cookies and without building a profile of you. This notice will be updated before any new data uses.
